Opening Hours:
9:00---17:00 (closed on Mondays); No admission after 16:00.
Regulations on Free Admission
Free admission tickets are available on the visiting day in turn. ID cards or certificates may be required in certain circumstances.
1. For Individual visitors, there are two ways to obtain tickets: at the ticketing office and by online reservation. When getting tickets at the ticketing office please present your valid certificate, including ID card, Preferential Treatment Certificate to the Senior, Student ID, Officer Certificate; for online ticket booking visitors, please visit the website of Shandong Museum www.sdmuseum.com and make online reservation, five tickets per person, and a reservation number would pop to you. With the reservation number and valid certificate, you would get your tickets at the ticketing office.
2. Group visitors can make reservation by phone (0531-85058202) five days in advance (within reservation quota) and have priority for entry after checked by the staff on the visiting day.

Paid tour-guide service and docents are available a the information desk for individual visitors. If group visitors need tour-guide service, please book it by phone (0531-85058201).
2. Audio Guide Devices
Audio guide devices shall be rented at the information desk.

Transportation
By Bus:
To Xiajing Village (Xiajing Cun), take bus No.115, 119, K139.
To Huayang Mingyuan, take bus No. 202, BRT-5, then walk eastward along the Jingshi Road for 500 meters.
To Yijian Xincun, take bus No.18, 62, 63, 150, then walk northward along East Yaojia Road for 500 meters.
Electronic Map
Visitors are expected to observe the followings:
1. Wheelchairs and baby strollers are available at the information desk.
2. The use of tripods and flash is prohibited in both special and permanent exhibitions. Photography is only permitted for private, non-commercial use.
3. Please receive a security check before entering the museum. All the articles mentioned in the Rules of the Prohibited Articles into Shandong Museum are prohibited.
4. Free luggage checking in the cloakroom. Please watch your personal belongings.
5. The Museum reserves the right to make any adjustments due to some special events or provisional activities.
Food & Beverages
Welcome to our Coffee House! The design style is in harmony with the architecture of the museum itself, seeking to create an elegant, peaceful, easy and comfortable atmosphere. The main building area is of 150 square meters, which can host about 60 guests at the same time. By mainly offering coffee, as well as classical tea art and other beverages, western and eastern food and exquisite snack, the Coffee House tries to spread the humanistic life concept which advocates nature and health to the visitors.
